Welcome to Walkin’ Canada

Get ready to stay active and have fun while exploring the country known for its hockey, maple syrup, and polite people. While physically walking in anywhere USA or in the world you can also walk virtually through Canada, the world’s second largest country. Many of the cities we visit virtually will have one or more IVV trails and we will bring you fun facts, highlight interesting places and maybe some pictures along the way. Canada has been scaled to meet our walking challenge. AVA has partnered with the Canadian Volkssport Federation Association to bring you Walkin’ Canada. The cost of the program is $22.00 which includes a Walkin’ Canada T-shirt upon completion and enrollment in the very first AVA Regional Team Challenge if you choose.

1. You will be transported to a Pay Pal payment system to make your payment. This payment will include any new challenges added during 2019.

2. You may pay for more than one walker in a single transaction. Simply take $22.00 times the amount of walkers for your balance due. When you receive the email from VOP@ava.org you will be asked for the names and email addresses of those additional persons. All walkers will be asked to create a unique AVA walking account with their own INDIVIDUAL email address.

3. After your payment has been received you will receive a receipt via email.

4. Within several business days you will receive an email from vop@ava.org with an invitation to create a walking account. Follow the instructions to create your account. *** If you are currently enrolled in the 2018 Virtual Online Program (401K) and enroll for 2019 before December 31 your walking account will stay open and the transition into 2019 will be seamless. ***

5. The Walkin’ Canada program ends December 31, 2019

6. During the registration process, questions with a red asterisk (*) are required to participate.

7. Walkin’ Canada participants who answer the Wellness Metrics questions on “Mood, Sleep, Heart, and Weight” at least once a week while participating in the program will receive a free special award upon completion of the program!

Be sure to include the names of all the registrants and email addresses with your payment. Once payment is received, you will receive the link to create your AVA walking account enrollment from VOP@ava.org .
